M&S / Solidaridad project prepares rural youth to become stewards of the land

In the village of Naranjal in East Paraguay, an enthusiastic crowd of 200 rural youth participated in the Youth Day (Dia de la Juventud) event that encourages young people to care about the environment. Held on 28 September, this activity was co-organized by the M&S / Solidaridad soy smallholder project. In this project, around 2,600 soy family farmers are trained in better practices. By preparing young people to be responsible stewards of the land, the project hopes to ensure a long-term future of sustainable agriculture in East Paraguay.
