Round Tables: Working together towards sustainable supply chains

06 November 2012

More and more companies work together with non-governmental organizations, like Solidaridad to improve the social and environmental supply chains of their products. Producers, buyers and civil society organizations cooperate to improve sector sustainability performance and make sustainability mainstream. Global Round Tables play an important role in this process.

Gert van der Bijl is Solidaridad’s international programme coordinator Soy. He is a guest speaker at the Global Food Security Conference about Food Security Challenges and Solutions, 5th and 6th November 2012 in Shanghai organized by University of Nothingham. Gert van der Bijl will be presenting the work of global round tables at this meeting.
