Promoting sustainability among soy family farmers in Paraguay

With support from UK retailer Marks & Spencer and the Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH), Solidaridad worked on making soy agriculture among family farmers in Paraguay more sustainable. From 2014 to 2016, over 2,600 soy family farmers were trained in better and more sustainable agricultural practices. By preparing young people to be responsible stewards of the land, the project contributed to a long-term future of sustainable agriculture in Eastern Paraguay.
