Addressing Forced Labor – A Practitioner's Toolkit (French)

Solidaridad and The Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM) released a toolkit to help people and organizations address forced labour in artisanal and small-scale gold mining communities worldwide.

The toolkit was created for miners, civil society organizations, government agencies and experts on labour and human rights. It was developed after extensive research and consultation with experts in human rights, mining and labour standards, and then field tested in Peru and Colombia. Humanity United, a U.S.-based foundation with a mission to stop modern-day slavery, provided financial support. The toolkit includes practical tools, such as criteria for good practice, guides and checklists, to help you understand, identify, prevent and treat forced labour in ASM communities.
